History

Pennant Hills Christian School was founded in 1979 with eight students and one teacher in two rooms of an orphanage. The purpose of the school was for children, including those with disabilities, to be taught to look at this world from God’s perspective, with Jesus Christ as the focus.

In 1980 enrolments grew to 41 students and two staff, while 1981 saw the school move into Secondary education and the first students with disabilities integrated into mainstream education. In 1985 the current Principal, Dr Boyce was appointed. Then in 1986 the School moved to its current premises at Dural. As a result, Pennant Hills Christian School changed its name to Pacific Hills Christian School. That year also saw the first Year 12 students sit for their Higher School Certificate.

Many attractive buildings and sporting facilities have been completed and additional land purchased since this time. Today Pacific Hills is located on a 22 acre campus accommodating up to 1360 students and 150 staff. Construction is soon to commence on additional sporting facilities and an innovative collegiate style Senior School building.
